Hagar Aviram was born and raised in Israel, surrounded by orchards of citrus fruit and pecan trees in a family of food lovers and great cooks.
She started her culinary career at age 16 making crapes in Bar Mitzvahs and fell in love with the kitchen.
In 2007 she traveled South East Asia and China and studied the local techniques and the diverse South East Asian cuisine.
Hagar lives in Brooklyn, NY where she has been working both as a restaurant cook and a private chef, constantly cultivating her unique style and cuisine that she refers to as “Mediterranean soul food”.
